She
has work as teacher in different universities in Chile, United State and Europe. I
Admire her work, and specially her book “el libro negro de la justicia chilena”.
I had to read in the first year of my career. In this book she talks about some
secrets and bad practice of the Chilean justice. Her book was published in 1999
and confiscated the same day. The minister of Corte Suprema, Servando Jordan, acused
to Matus of contempt the Security State law. She decides go to exile in United
States and return in 2005, when the article of contempt was remove.
I
think that Alejandra is an example of ethic and professionalism, because she
defended her research and fight for show the injustice and the most turbid secrets
about the powerful men in Chile.

I like Matus too. Some days ago I went to a forum where she was the moderator (in the Freedom Speech Day).
