My favourite concert

I'm going to write about my favourite concert. It is the last concert of Depeche Mode in Chile, which was in Club Hípico, on October 15th, 2009. More than 45 000 people attended.


I don't remember when was the first time I listened but always I liked to hear on the radio. This is a british band formed in 1980 and played new wave and electronic music.When I knew that they coming to Chile on the"Tour of the Universe" whit my boyfriend stayed so happy because was a dream for us can see them. On July this year, I went to buy the tickets in secret and gave the surprise him.


The day of the concert I was nervious because I had to go to class and present an important work. I take the bus at 17:30 and when arrived to Club Hipico I ran to the access and call my boyfriend, who was already inside. At 9 began the concert whit one of the new songs, it's called "In Chains".


Depeche Mode played many classics, like "Policy of truth", "Walking in my shoes" and "Home", which was a special moment because it is a nostalgic song, but the most special was the voice of the singer and guitar Martin Gore. I felt like if i was floating at that moment.
